What’s Up in the Attic March 21, 2020
ALL ANGELS IN THE ATTIC STORES PLUS THE DONATION CENTER ARE CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE DUE TO THE CORONAVIRUS COVID-19
…..The staff has reviewed its inventory in all locations to determine if there might be any previously donated items useful to medical clinics, nursing homes, or individuals during this crisis. The kinds of items considered were surgical masks or woodworking masks, scrubs, disinfecting wipes, hand sanitizer, depends or similar medical items that might be in short supply, and we were disappointed to find there were none…….We do carry crutches and walkers at times, but there is no current need for them, of which we are aware……..
This includes the Angels Donation Center and its minibarn, because the minibarn has limited space and ordinarily it must be emptied 4 times per week to make space for continuing donations, which is no longer possible.
The Angels Furniture Store is closed
The Angels in the Attic Store is closed
The Angels Boutique is closed
The Angels Donation Center minibarn is closed
We were reluctant to close down these facilities because we are aware that many people depend on them, however, most of the Angels volunteers are seniors who are at much higher risk from the effects of coronavirus Covid-19.
We will be re-evaluating our status weekly, so please continue to access the Angels Facebook page, as well as the Angels in the Attic website www.angelsintheattic.org
