The telephone number for the main Angels in the Attic Store, or to reach someone at the Angels Boutique, is 540-745-4500<\/b> but it is staffed only during open hours. Please leave a message if no one answers. Your call will be returned the next day of operation. There is no phone at the Angels Donation Center, the Angels Furniture Store, nor the Angels Christmas Store, due to costs and staffing, but most of the volunteers have personal mobile phones for emergencies.<\/h2>\n

Angels Donation Center hours and days of operation:<\/b><\/h2>\n

DONATION CENTER HOURS:<\/b><\/h2>\n

The Donation Center is always open 24 x 7 x 365 to drop off donations inside the mini-barn<\/i><\/b>, 7 days a week. Please do not leave\u00a0donations\u00a0outside in the weather. For furniture donations, take to the lower driveway and place on the concrete pad beneath the overhang for protection from the weather.\u00a0If left outside, the weather is most likely to damage them<\/i>.<\/h2>\n

DONATION DROPOFF LOCATIONS:<\/b><\/h2>\n

\u00a0<\/span>The sole location for dropping off donations of all kinds, including the Angels Furniture Store, is 112 Needmore Lane, Floyd, VA, which is located on the corner of Route 8 and Needmore Lane next door to the Harvest Moon Food Store.<\/b><\/h2>\n

Furniture donations<\/i> should be placed\u00a0on the concrete pad (under the overhang of the large building) located at the end of the lower gravel driveway which is slightly beyond the house, but it is preferred you do so during open hours to keep items in good condition.<\/h2>\n

A few items cannot be accepted for donations<\/i><\/b>:<\/h2>\n

Only drop off clothing which is in good condition as-is<\/i>. Angels has no seamstresses or laundry facilities for fixing or washing clothing. We are unaware of other facilities that can accept soiled or torn clothing, so recycling in the bins around the county is an option.<\/h2>\n

CRT (tube-type) TV sets<\/i> cannot be accepted because they are not salable and must be taken to the Floyd County Transfer Station on Storkers Knob Rd near the corner of Woods Gap Road not far up the road from the Floyd High School (no charge to residents).<\/h2>\n

Mattresses<\/i> cannot be accepted due to health code reasons and also must be taken to the County Transfer Station on Storkers Knob Road (no charge to residents).<\/h2>\n

Auto child seats<\/i>. For stringent safety and liability reasons, they cannot be sold by us, and should be taken to the County Transfer Station on Storkers Knob Road (no charge to residents).<\/h2>\n

The volunteers working at the Donation Center are not equipped with the vehicles nor the weightlifting ability to transport any\u00a0 <\/span>items to the Country Transfer Station, so please be considerate.<\/i><\/h2>\n

Location and Hours of all Stores:<\/b><\/h2>\n

The location for both the Angels in the Attic Store and Angels Boutique is 210 South Locust Street in Floyd VA.<\/b> This address is located in the first block south of the traffic signal at the intersection of Routes 221 and 8 in downtown Floyd next door to the world famous Floyd Country Store. The Floyd Country Store, with its Friday Night Jamboree featuring bluegrass music, is a major venue on the Virginia Heritage Music Trail.<\/h2>\n

The Angels Christmas Store is open only seasonally, typically late October, November and December up until Christmas. Please watch The Floyd Press or the Angels Facebook Page, or the What\u2019s Up in the Attic section on this website for any updated announcements of opening and closing dates and hours.<\/h2>\n

Fridays 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturdays 9:00 am to 4:00 pm starting usually in mid-October.<\/b><\/h2>\n

Yes, we are open the Fri and Sat after Thanksgiving Day.<\/b><\/h2>\n

The Christmas Store is located on E Main St in Floyd VA (no mailing address), in the former Odd Fellows Lodge, which is next door to the Buffalo Hemp Company (located at 710 E. Main St in case you are using GPS on your cellphone or auto), on the opposite side of the street from the CVS Floyd Pharmacy.<\/h2>\n
