If you would like to volunteer, or have questions about how to volunteer<\/strong>,<\/p>\n

  1. Call the main store at 540-745-4500 or the donation center at 540-745-2333<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Email angelsfloydinfo@gmail.com<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Inquire at any of the Angels in the Attic Stores during operating hours<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Angels in the Attic Store, Angels Boutique, Angels Christmas Store, Angels Furniture Store, and Angels Donation Center<\/h2>\n

    Really, Really Need YOU as a Volunteer<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    Perhaps you have only a couple hours available — THAT IS FINE<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    Perhaps you can\u2019t commit to regular hours — THAT IS FINE TOO<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    Angels is very very flexible and will<\/span> accommodate your preferences<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    Hands of Current Volunteers<\/p><\/div>\n

    Some examples of the types of assistance needed:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Sorting donated clothing into categories such as children\u2019s, men\u2019s and women\u2019s<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Sorting books into categories for children, travel, cookbooks, religion and fiction<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    3. Refurbishing donated items, such as tightening screws, polishing, gluing<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    4. Mending and fixing toys or bicycles for children and sorting into age groups<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    5. Removing items from the minibarn outside shed at the Donation Center and taking them into the house to sort<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    6. Restocking shelves and racks at the Attic or the Boutique<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    7. Cashier at the Attic<\/span><\/span> or the Boutique or the Furniture Store or Christmas Store<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    8. Customer assistance at the Attic to help customers find and select what they are looking for<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    9. Perform \u201cfixits\u201d of the facilities at the Donation Center, the Attic<\/span><\/span> or Angels Boutique, i.e., a nail here, a hook there, tighten a hinge, oil a squeak, etc.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    10. Perform arts and crafts to \u201crepurpose\u201d donations or use your creative skills to convert certain donations into something new<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    11. Use your electrical, plumbing or carpentry skills to repair or make improvements<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
