VOLUNTEERS NEEDED AT ANGELS FURNITURE STORE, PART TIME<\/span><\/h2>\n

We need volunteers to help out on the charitable work for which Angels in the Attic exists, at the Angels Furniture Store located at 122 Needmore Lane in Floyd. Particularly on Fridays, but assistance is also needed on Tuesdays and Saturdays. We always ask you what you prefer to do, and what hours or days you prefer to assist.<\/span><\/h2>\n

<\/h2>\n

What would you do? Greet customers, ask what they are looking for, show them the area in the Furniture Store where those items are located, and process payments for purchases. Also, to greet those who are donating furniture, point out the hand trucks so as to assist their bringing into the building chairs, tables, sofas, and medical equipment.<\/span><\/h2>\n

We do not expect you to lug furniture around by yourself, as there are dollies, hand trucks, and generally other volunteers are available to help as needed. We do not expect you to be there the full opening hours, as we often have split shifts of volunteers. We are flexible.<\/span><\/h2>\n

The location of the Angels Furniture Store is 112 Needmore Lane, Floyd, VA, which is located on the corner of Route 8 and Needmore Lane next door to the Harvest Moon Food Store.<\/span><\/h2>\n

Angels in the Attic is a nonprofit thrift store in downtown Floyd VA, operated almost entirely by volunteers, where the proceeds, after expenses, goes to local charitable causes.<\/span><\/h2>\n
