ANGELS FURNITURE STORE – OPEN AND CLOSED HOURS SCHEDULE FOR THE NEXT COUPLE WEEKS
ANGELS FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR 2016 ARE RELEASED.
VIEW THEM BELOW, BY CLICKING THE LINKS
The official name for Angels is “Floyd County Angels Ministries Inc”, and it is a 501c3 non-profit, as determined by the IRS, and an annual statement on a certain form must be sent to the IRS under the applicable regulations. The organization operates the Angels in the Attic Store, the Angels Boutique, and the Angels Donation Center along with the Angels Furniture Store. So, the word “Angels” by itself is a nickname.
Because there are so many volunteers to run the day to day activities, there is large percentage of sales revenues from the stores that is available to be given to support local organizations such as food pantries and heating assistance. Some well known national organizations spend a lot on fund raising, many paid staff, and paid executives, so there is a small percentage left over for direct payments to their cause. Not so at Angels, which has a very high percentage of funds distributed to support worthy causes.

NEW ANGELS FURNITURE STORE AT THE ANGELS DONATION CENTER WILL BE OPEN THIS SATURDAY AUGUST 12 FROM 8AM-1:30PM AS AN EXPERIMENT.
Come visit the Angels Furniture Store at 112 Needmore Lane this Saturday. Go to the lower driveway. It is open for the first time on a Saturday as a convenience to people unable to stop by during typical working hours. Depending on the popularity, perhaps some other Saturdays could be scheduled later on.
By the way, a reminder that the mini-barn on the upper driveway at the Angels Donation Center is where all small items should be placed inside (to protect them from the weather and to avoid an unsightly mess). All donated furniture should be delivered to the lower driveway and onto the dock of the new furniture store. Sorry, we are unable to accept mattresses due to health code, tube TVs due to hazardous material, or child car seats due to safety code. Those items must be taken to the Country Transfer Station on Storkers Knob Rd.
THE ANGELS FURNITURE STORE IN THE NEW BUILDING AT THE ANGELS DONATION CENTER ON NEEDMORE LANE IS NOW OPEN !!!!!
The store is currently full, because several weeks of donated furniture were stored in various rooms, and an old house, and was not accessible for sales. So the prices are lower for awhile.
