WITH INCREASING SALES, ANGELS CAN GIVE BACK MORE
The sales in the Angels stores (Angels in the Attic, Angels Furniture Store, and Angels Boutique) have been increasing significantly in recent months.

Welcome to the Angels in the Attic Store

What this means are:
– there will be more funding returned to the community, to organizations feeding the hungry and assisting the needy,
– more and more people are finding that the Angels stores always have many bargains.
We thank all of you customers, and all the volunteers.

Angels is a non-profit organization located in Floyd, Virginia, and is composed of somewhere around 80 volunteers who sort and classify donations, pack the van multiple times a week to re-stock the Angels in the Attic Store and the Angels Boutique Store, and who take in furniture donations and staff the Angels Furniture Store for customers.

An annual financial report is posted on the window of the Angels in the Attic Store, or can be viewed on the website. The specific funding of community organizations is listed, which are determined by the Board of Directors composed of a cross-section of the community.

VOLUNTEERS URGENTLY NEEDED AT THE ANGELS DONATION CENTER
You only need to be available for a partial day and it is open only a few days of the week. The location is at 112 Needmore Lane, Floyd, VA, which is located on the corner of Route 8 and Needmore Lane, next door to the Harvest Moon Food Store. The greatest need is for people to inspect and sort clothing for infants, children, teens, and adults. You set your own hours, so if you are available only a couple hours one day a week, or more, please stop by and ask for a tour to view what the volunteers are doing. Please stop by between 10 and 2 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays to look us over.

The Angels Donation Center was expanded last year with a large addition constructed in the rear of the garage. It is now a very nice workspace with excellent lighting and fresh air. The one photo shows how far it extends.

People of the community can drop off donations 24×7 in the Mini Barn on the upper driveway. (The lower drive is for the Furniture Store). Angels in the Attic is a non-profit organization which turns over its proceeds to local charitable organizations to feed the hungry, and assist the needy.

KID’S CLOTHES AND COATS SALE ON RIGHT NOW AT ANGELS IN THE ATTIC
Until the weather warms up and spring clothing is set out in the store, the current kid’s selection on the racks is on sale at 25 cents for each piece of clothing (tops and slacks) and 50 cents for coats. It can’t get much lower than that.

This will save the volunteers at Angels of having to remove it from the racks, fold and pack up a bunch of clothing, box it, and transport it to storage, all that lifting and hauling. Extremely few of the volunteers are ex-football players.

So, Angels is sharing the savings with the community. Angels in the Attic is located in downtown Floyd VA right next door to the world-renowned Floyd Country Store. The store is open:
Tuesdays – 9:00am to 4:00pm

Fridays – 9:00am to 7:00pm April until Christmas and 9:00am to 4:00pm January through March

Saturdays – 9:00am to 2:00pm (Winter hours until May)

ANGELS BOUTIQUE HAS A VERY UNIQUE COLLECTIBLE PHOTO FOR COIN COLLECTORS WHO ADMIRE THE BUFFALO/INDIAN HEAD NICKEL, OR FOR THOSE WHO COLLECT NATIVE AMERICAN MEMORABILIA, OR FOR HISTORIC PHOTO COLLECTORS

The winter hours for the Angels Boutique are Tuesdays and Fridays 9am-4pm and Saturdays 9am-2pm and these start on Tuesday Jan 2. The Boutique is located at 210 South Locust Street in Floyd VA, attached to the Angels in the Attic Store and next door to the famous Floyd CountryStore

This collectible photo of CHIEF 2 GUN WHITE CALF is not authenticated by us since we do not have that resource locally, so you will need to judge for yourself, but it looks its age of 1928 or 90 years old. You will notice on the photo, over his left shoulder, three symbols which is his signature, images of two guns and a calf.

Two Guns White Calf, also known as John Two Guns and John Whitecalf Two Guns, was also, in time, a Blackfoot chief. He provides one of the most readily recognizable images of a Native American in the world as impression of his portrait appears to appear on a coin, the Indian head nickel.

It is priced at $60 or you can buy a similar one on today’s ebay for $220. Please come on in and take a look. First come, first served, only one available.
