ANGELS BOUTIQUE HAS RECENT FINE ARTS ADDITIONS
Be sure to look at all the photos. First, there are one each Denmark Christmas Plates (the blue ones) from the years 1967-1971. There is also a Norman Rockwell plate (not shown).
There is a collection of VINTAGE LADIES HATS (no photo) that are now back in style, so why not buy the real thing?
Then there is a unique wooden Swedish holiday carousel.
The Angels Boutique is located adjacent to the Angels in the Attic Store and has the same hours.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED AT ANGELS DONATION CENTER
We need volunteers to help out on the charitable work for which Angels in the Attic exists. Some of the activities at the Angels Donation Center are listed below.
To become a volunteer, stop by the Angels Donation Center at the corner of Needmore Lane and Hwy 8 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Fridays, between the hours of 9-2 to discuss your contribution of time.
Activities examples:
Sorting.
Go through donated clothing, and sort into categories such as infants, children, high school, and adults.
Cleaning.
Dust and clean donated items so they are attractive.
Packing.
Place clothing of each category into boxes and pack for shipment to the Angels in the Attic Store. For example, the store may call because they are running out of infant’s clothing, and need more boxes right away.
We always ask you what you prefer to do, and what hours or days you prefer to assist.
We may be changing to winter hours at the Donation Center later on this year.

Question posed to Angels in the Attic, & the Answer
Question: Are the Angel’s stores (Angels in the Attic, Angels Boutique, Angels Christmas Store, and the furniture sales at the Angels Donation Center) available for only the needy to shop in?
Answer: No. Everyone is welcome, and encouraged, to shop at any of the Angels in the Attic stores. Proceeds go to help fund various food banks over the county and emergency assistance through Social Services and New River Community Action.
The assistance provided through Social Services and New River Community Action includes vouchers that are provided by Angels to be distributed by New River Community Action, at their discretion to those with limited resources or others of the community facing needs because of house fires, unexpected medical bills, flooding or other occurrences that might put them in need. Vouchers can be used instead of cash to purchase needed items.
There is an abundance of merchandise at the stores, donated by people in recognition of our goals. The more people that shop, and make purchases, the more proceeds there are to provide assistance.
We keep prices very low in the main Angels in the Attic store, so that people with limited resources can buy clothing, toys, tableware, cooking utensils, at prices they cannot find elsewhere. However, everyone is welcomed to purchase any item in the store. You will find tourists strolling the aisles for bargains, perhaps hoping to find an antique treasure sitting there on the shelf.
An example of “something for everyone” is the Angel’s Boutique. It sells high-end donations to residents of Floyd County, and also to tourists, and even owners of antique shops in nearby cities. It is a very important component of raising funds in support of local food banks and charitable organizations.

Just in time for the chef who is doing your Thanksgiving meal. Help protect their “company” clothing on the big day while they are mixing mashed potatoes, or pouring gravy from one container to another. A wonderful gift to bring with you to the meal.
